The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has officially announced the commencement of applications for its 2025/2026 Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme (OSS), inviting qualified Nigerian graduates to apply for fully funded MSc and PhD programs.
This scholarship initiative is targeted at building indigenous expertise for the Nigerian oil and gas industry and now includes an expanded focus on local capacity development through the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Kaduna (CPESK).
Scholarship Overview:
– MSc Scholarships: Available in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Malaysia.
– PhD Scholarships: Offered in Germany, France, and Malaysia.
– Split-Site UK PhD Scholarships: Conducted in partnership with three UK universities Robert Gordon University, University of Strathclyde, and University of Portsmouth and CPESK Kaduna.
The scholarship covers flight tickets, tuition, health insurance, bench fees (where applicable), and living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
– Open to Nigerian graduates with academic excellence.
– Applicants must pursue postgraduate degrees in fields relevant to the oil and gas sector.
