A powerful new alliance of innovation hubs has launched the MSwitch Group, a multidisciplinary platform designed to unify Nigeria’s tech and creative industries, fuel innovation, and transform ideas into scalable solutions across Africa.
The coalition, comprising MSwitch Media, Techspecialist, Tiidelab, and MSwitch Creative Hub—announced the initiative as a bold step toward bridging the long-standing gap between inspiration and execution within Nigeria’s digital space.
According to Kadir Salami, Chairman of MSwitch Group, the platform was created in response to the glaring disconnect between the abundance of talent in the country and the lack of systems to support scalable implementation.
“We’re surrounded by creativity and vision, but what’s missing is a bridge between raw ideas and real impact,” Salami said. “MSwitch is that bridge, an ecosystem where talent meets tools, strategy, and mentorship.”
The group aims to tackle pressing issues such as poor business visibility, limited media exposure, inadequate IT infrastructure, and the scarcity of expert guidance for emerging creatives and tech entrepreneurs.
With a focus on digital storytelling, strategic media production, and collaborative content creation, MSwitch plans to amplify the voices of Nigerian innovators and position them for regional and global relevance.
To guide its mission, MSwitch has inaugurated a Board of Directors made up of leading figures in media, technology, and entrepreneurship. The board is expected to shape the group’s strategic direction and ensure alignment with the fast-paced demands of Africa’s creative economy.
Salami emphasized that MSwitch will not only support individual creators and startups, but also serve as a broader catalyst for growth by creating safe, inclusive spaces where innovation thrives.
