Zenith Bank Plc has been named Nigeria’s Best Bank at the 2025 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, cementing its status as a leader in the country’s financial services sector.
The award recognises the bank’s outstanding financial performance, strategic innovation, and sustained investment in digital transformation and sustainability. It comes amid intense global competition, with this year’s awards drawing more than 770 submissions from top institutions such as HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Citibank, Barclays, Standard Bank, and DBS.
Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence are regarded as one of the most prestigious in the global banking industry, celebrating institutions that exhibit leadership, innovation, and resilience in their respective markets. Winners are selected based on a range of metrics, including financial results, strategic direction, and service quality.
Reacting to the accolade, the Group Managing Director and CEO of Zenith Bank Plc, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, described the recognition as a testament to the bank’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
