Renowned scholar and the Vice-Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, Today, urged the university’s freshly admitted students to embrace excellence, avoid bad company and associate with individuals who inspire and impact to them.
She said this during the 2024/2025 matriculation ceremony held at ABUAD, where 2,955 new students were admitted—comprising 2,507 undergraduates, 34 Open and Distance Learning Programme students, and 414 part-time students—the Vice-Chancellor underscored the university’s dedication to excellence.
