The Naira closed the week on a slightly weaker note, losing 19 kobo against the U.S. dollar at the official market on Friday, settling at N1,533.74.

According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, the local currency had traded at N1,533.55 on Thursday, showing a small but steady decline through the week.

On Wednesday, the Naira exchanged at N1,534.52, down from N1,533.18 on Tuesday. It had opened the week with a modest gain on Monday, trading at N1,534.20 per dollar.
