Nottingham Forest have agreed a £37 million deal to sign winger Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Friday that the 21-year-old has agreed personal terms and is undergoing a medical.
Hutchinson began his youth career at Chelsea, had spells at Charlton and Arsenal, and returned to Chelsea in 2022. He impressed on loan at Ipswich during the 2023/24 season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists, helping them secure promotion.
Though Ipswich signed him permanently in 2024, he couldn’t stop their relegation, scoring three league goals last season.
Hutchinson has represented both Jamaica and England and was part of England’s Under-21 team that won the 2025 UEFA Euro Championship.
Forest, who secured Europa League qualification by finishing seventh, view him as a key summer signing. Chelsea will earn from the deal due to a 25% sell-on clause.
