A new player has entered Nigeria’s fast-growing artificial intelligence space, this time, with a promise to do more than just disrupt. Dyna.Ai, a global AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) provider, officially launched its operations in Lagos with an exclusive, closed-door event that attracted heavyweights from the country’s finance, telecom, tech, and public sectors.
Themed “AI Unleashed: Revolutionising Nigeria’s Financial Future,” the event, tagged Nigeria Dyna Day, offered guests a first look at the company’s suite of AI-powered solutions tailored for the region’s financial ecosystem.
“For us, it makes sense to start in Nigeria. There is no bigger country in Africa, this is where the momentum is,” said Tomas Skoumal, Chairman and Co-President of Dyna.Ai, in his opening address. He described Africa not as a future prospect, but as a present force already being reshaped by fintech and digital innovation.
Skoumal emphasized that Dyna.Ai’s mission in Nigeria is deeply rooted in long-term development. “We’re not just here to sell a product, we’re here to build infrastructure, create jobs, and scale African innovation across the continent.”
At the heart of Dyna.Ai’s offerings are its Agentic AI tools, most notably, Agent Studio and specialised language models—designed to automate operations across customer service, marketing, collections, HR, and other enterprise functions.
The company also unveiled cutting-edge innovations such as AvatarGPT, a digital human capable of lifelike interaction, and VoiceGPT, which features speech agents fluent in local Nigerian languages including Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo.
Live demonstrations highlighted how these technologies are being used to redefine customer and employee engagement in the financial sector.
Tokoni Peter Igoin, Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovation, delivered the keynote, where he reiterated the Federal Government’s push for a secure, inclusive, and innovation-driven digital economy. He expressed optimism about how partnerships with AI-driven firms like Dyna.Ai could fast-track Nigeria’s digital transformation.
