Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has celebrated a legal victory in her defamation lawsuit against a Nigerian news outlet.
The case stemmed from a nearly two-year-old report that linked her to an alleged romantic relationship with Senator Dino Melaye, naming her among “six popular Nigerian celebrities” involved with the politician.
Describing the claims as completely false, Adunni Ade had filed a N100 million lawsuit against the platform for defamation and invasion of privacy.
In an update on her Instagram page, the actress on Tuesday evening applauded the “Nigerian Court of law” for getting her justice.
While celebrating her win, she said: “Won my case Adunni Ade vs. Polace

“2 cases won, a few more to go. You who is running up and down avoiding court papers, please stand still, so that you can be served.”
Replying to questions under her comment section, Adunni said, “Judge granted N20 million in damages, but blogger don japa. Na to garnish account remain.”
