The Nigeria Air Force Officers’ Wives Association, NAFOWA, Kwara Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the 303 Composite Group, Group Captain L. A. Lawal, and presented him with a Merit Award for outstanding leadership.
The Coordinator of NAFOWA Kwara Chapter, Hajia Maryam Adeola Akande -Lawal, led members of the association to the command headquarters. She introduced herself and the executive members and stated the purpose of the visit.
She said the visit aimed to build familiarity with the command and seek sustained partnership and support. She added that NAFOWA had several programs lined up and required the backing of the command to achieve its goals.
Group Captain L. A. Lawal welcomed the delegation and thanked them for the visit. He expressed readiness to work with the association and asked for mutual support and cooperation.
He pledged to support NAFOWA in all areas within his capacity. He added that any request beyond his authority would receive his recommendation to higher command.
In a related development, Hajia Maryam Adeola Akande Lawal, on behalf of NAFOWA Kwara Chapter, presented a Merit Award to the commander. She said the award recognized his leadership role and commitment to service.
The commander thanked the association for the honor and described the award as thoughtful. He also presented a cash gift to the coordinator for the association as a sign of appreciation.
Members of NAFOWA thanked the commander for the warm reception and prayed for a successful and impactful tenure.
