Ex-Girlfriend of Liverpool Star Alexis Mac Allister Demands £4.5m for Alleged Betrayal

Liverpool and Argentina midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is facing a £4.5 million legal demand from his ex-girlfriend Camila Mayan, who claims she was abruptly dumped after the World Cup for another woman — and now wants compensation for the years they spent together abroad.

Mayan, an Argentine influencer, filed the lawsuit in the wake of their highly publicised 2022 split, alleging that Mac Allister left her shortly after lifting the World Cup trophy to begin a relationship with Ailen Cova, who is now expecting a child with the footballer.

According to reports, Mayan is seeking $250,000 (£185,000) per month for the two years she lived abroad with the midfielder, totalling $6 million (£4.5 million). She argues that her sacrifices and time in the relationship warrant financial redress.

Adding to the tension, Mayan says she was allegedly “kicked out of England” after Mac Allister started dating Cova, sparking a storm of personal and legal drama. While the case had initially been expected to proceed in Argentina, a court has now ruled that the matter will be heard in England, dealing a potential blow to her legal strategy.

“Everything’s fine, we’re seeing what we do next,” Mayan said in an interview with Argentine media outlet A la Tarde. “We all know that things in the courts can take a long time, so it’s normal, right? I don’t have any contacts in the courts, I don’t know them.”

Mac Allister, for his part, has kept mostly quiet on the issue. Speaking in late 2024, the midfielder said: “There was no more relationship. She took her path, I took mine, and that’s it. Everything is in court, where it should be, and we are waiting.”

He dismissed her claims about infidelity and withheld belongings, saying, “I know how things went, and that’s why I’m very calm.”

Mayan fired back, denying she had leaked personal details to the media. “They want to make me look like a media figure because it looks better on them,” she said. “I learned a lot of things from TV. The other day, someone close to him talked about getting married. I didn’t say that.”

With the legal battle heating up and the case heading to court in the UK, the off-pitch drama surrounding one of Liverpool’s key players is far from over.
