The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gdadamosi Esuwoye II, following the passing of his beloved mother, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi.
The Rector described the demise of the monarch’s mother as a tremendous loss, not only to the royal family but also to the entire Offa community.
He urged the Olofa to find solace in the knowledge that his mother’s life was a blessing to many.
The Rector also expressed the entire Polytechnic Community’s sympathy and solidarity with the royal family during this difficult period and prayed that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest and the Olofa and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi died on Saturday at the ripe age of 94.
