The Kwara State Polytechnic Muslim Community today joined millions around the world in celebrating Eid- il-Fitri, following the sighting of the crescent moon of Shawwal, which signifies the conclusion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
In a heartfelt Sallah message to the Polytechnic Muslim Community, the Rector, Engr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed congratulates the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that
it is important for all Muslims to ensure that the values of Ramadan resonate in their daily interactions, fostering a sense of unity and understanding within the Polytechnic community.
He noted that the sacred period, characterized by reflection, prayer, and self-discipline, has culminated in a day of joyous celebration and gratitude, urging all Muslims, to carry forward the spirit of love, sharing, and forgiveness that the holy month imparts.
He described Eid-il-Fitri as a time for families and friends to come together, share festive meals, and support those in need which is a reminder of the significance of the generosity that Ramadan promotes.
