BREAKING: Court Orders Oba Otudeko to Appear for N30bn Fraud Trial

The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered Oba Otudeko to appear and take his plea in the N30 billion fraud case filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke gave the ruling on Monday, stating that Otudeko must enter a plea before any challenge to the court’s jurisdiction can be considered.

The EFCC’s 13-count charge involves allegations of fraudulent loan transactions against Otudeko and three others.

The case has been adjourned to May 8 for further proceedings.
