President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Ikye Orikpo from Delta State as the new Chairman of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.
This announcement was made by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement released on Friday in Abuja .
Dr. Orikpo’s appointment is part of a broader announcement of new board chairpersons for federal organizations.
The Presidency also took the opportunity to clarify a few errors in the list of board chairmen announced earlier.
Notably, Duro Meseko from Kogi State has been confirmed as the Chairman of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute, correcting an earlier duplication error.
Additionally, Mr. Yahaya Wurno from Sokoto State, not Ambassador Wurno, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority .
