Telegram Billionaire Offers Free IVF Using His Sperm—And He’s Footing the Bill

A Moscow fertility clinic is offering women the chance to have children using the sperm of one of Russia’s richest men—Telegram founder Pavel Durov, and it won’t cost them a thing.

The AltraVita IVF clinic, based in the city’s Akademicheskaya district, says Durov himself will cover the full cost of the fertility treatment. The 40-year-old tech mogul, already a father of six by three women, is reported to have donated sperm to dozens of couples in 12 countries—potentially fathering as many as 100 children.

“Pavel Durov is willing to fund all IVF procedures that use his sperm. It’s a generous offer from someone who wants to support people who dream of having children,” read a statement on the clinic’s website.

Sergei Yakovenko, CEO of AltraVita and a biophysics professor at Moscow State University, confirmed the initiative in an interview with Russian media. He described Durov as a close friend who wanted to make a meaningful contribution to society.

In a recent interview with Le Point magazine in France, Durov revealed that he plans to leave his entire £17 billion fortune to all of his children—biological or otherwise. “They’re all my children and will have equal rights,” he said. “I don’t want them fighting over money after I’m gone.”

However, there’s a catch. The inheritance will be locked away for 30 years. Durov said he wants his children to learn independence and create their own paths before touching a dime. “They need to live like normal people, build their own lives, trust their own abilities, and not depend on a bank account,” he added.
