Spotify has unveiled its 2025 list of Top Afrobeats Artists, with Nigerian stars dominating the chart.
Burna Boy claimed the top spot, followed by Rema at number two and Wizkid at number three. Asake and Ayra Starr, Roc Nation’s newest signee, rounded out the top five.
Notably absent from the list was Davido, one of the genre’s widely celebrated “Big 3,” alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Spotify also revealed the top countries streaming Afrobeats in 2025. The United States led the chart, followed by Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Nigeria.
