Oshoala, Ijamilusi hit camp as Super Falcons begin preparation for Benin clash
Asisat Oshoala, Folashade Ijamilusi, and Miracle Usani were among the first players to arrive as the Super Falcons began camp for their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Amazons of Benin Republic.
Other early arrivals include Taiwo Afolabi, Joy Omewa, Aderline Mgbechi, Blessing Illivieda, and Kafayat Mafisere, while 13 more players are still expected to join the team.
The squad is camped at Hotel Sarakawa in Lome, Togo, and will hold their first training session later tonight.
Nigeria will face Benin Republic in the first leg of the second-round qualifier at Stade Kegue, Lome, on Thursday, with the return leg scheduled for next Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.
