Former Super Eagles skipper and coach, Sunday Oliseh, has advised Victor Osimhen to make a bold move to the English Premier League if he wants to remain a top figure in world football.
Speaking on Lagos Talks 91.3FM, Oliseh praised the Napoli striker as a “huge asset” to Nigerian football but stressed that Osimhen needs to step up and evolve if he wants to stay relevant at the highest level.
“This is a player that, if he wants to continue to be in the limelight, he has to go to the Premier League. Nigerians want to see him there,” Oliseh said.
With interest from clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, and another strong Serie A season under his belt, Osimhen’s next move is crucial — not just for his career, but also for Nigeria’s hopes ahead of AFCON 2025 and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
