The Minister For Youth Development, Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande has pledged to continue to strive to empower, support and protect the youth at all time.
In his new year message, Olawande assured the youths on his readiness to supporting youth aspirations, creating growth opportunities, and fostering an environment conducive for their success, while he encouraged them to remain steadfast as ambassadors of peace, unity and harmony within their communities.
He urged the youth to seize the abundant opportunities provided by the ministry youth-focused initiatives, which are tailored to empower them with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to excel in their chosen pursuits.
“I extent my heartfelt greetings to the vibrant, talented and dynamic youths of Nigeria, may the festive season fill your homes with joy, peace and happiness.”
“As we celebrate the New Year with family and friends, I urge you to let love, kindness, and generosity guide your actions. I beseech you to stride for personal growth, aim for excellence, and continue making a positive impacts in lives of others while contributing significantly to the growth of our motherland.”
Olawande noted that over the past years, the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant strides in youth empowerment, through the Nigeria Youth Academy (NiYA), thousands of youths habe acquired valuable skills, while the Nigeria Youth Help-desk has provided a platform for addressing cases of harassment, intimidation and unlawful arrest, as well as receiving feedback on youth-focused initiatives.
The minister however assured the youths of his administration unwavering commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes the empowerment and upliftment of Nigerian youth.
