The Honourable Minister of Youth, Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande has tasked corps members to promote a positive image of the country.
This was made known today, during his unscheduled visit to the NYSC FCT Secretariat, Maitama, Abuja. The Minister emphasized the need for the corps members to be good ambassadors of Nigeria, positively impacting their host communities, thereby playing a vital role in the country’s development.
The Minister accompanied by the FCT Coordinator, Mr Samson Ateli, conducted an extensive tour of the Secretariat’s branches and units, emphasizing the importance of maintaining positive and cordial relationships between staff members and corps members.
The Minister’s Visit was capped off by a meaningful interaction with corps members, followed by the granting of pardon to some of those facing disciplinary action.
