Sequel to the promise made by the Honorable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, during his recent appearance on *Politics Today* with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels Television, about the welfare of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members remains a top priority for this administration.

In a statement Signed by the Technical Assistant on Social Media, Office of the Minister of Youth Development, Hakeem Ayodele, described that the commitment is now being realized through the ongoing disbursement of the increased monthly allowance of ₦77,000 to corps members, which has commenced as promised
He disclosed that the significant raise reflects the administration’s dedication to enhancing the living conditions and financial support for corps members, empowering young Nigerians and fostering an environment where they can contribute meaningfully to national development.


Ayodele added that the Ministry is also collaborating with relevant stakeholders to sustain and improve initiatives that support corps members, ensuring their needs are met and their service year is impactful.
“The NYSC program will continue to symbolize unity, service, and progress for Nigerian youth” he said.
