The Kwara State Government has showcased its numerous projects and investment opportunities in the state at the ongoing exhibition at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (LCCI) 2025 International Business Conference and Expo.
The exhibition, which was held from Tuesday, August 26 to Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, provides a platform for businesses, investors and entrepreneurs to explore opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
Speaking at the event, the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun, reaffirmed the commitment of the Kwara State Government, under the visionary leadership of the Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
The Commissioner added that the exhibition offers a unique platform for investors to identify and explore abundant opportunities in agriculture, solid minerals and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT).
During her presentation at the Kwara State Government’s exhibition pavilion, Hon. Adelodun unveiled several flagship projects designed to stimulate economic growth and attract investors.
The projects are the Sugar Factory Film Studio, which is a major industrial project aimed at boosting the state’s economy through the creative and entertainment industry; Kwara Visual Arts, a platform dedicated to promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential; Garment Factory, a manufacturing facility driving textile development and supporting the state’s garment and fashion industry; and Ilorin Innovation Hub, a technology-driven centre fostering entrepreneurship, innovation and digital growth.
She further highlighted additional areas of investment opportunities in Kwara State, which include the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), meant to create opportunities for companies to outsource various business processes; Digital Economy, investment prospects in e-commerce, fintech and other digital-driven sectors; and Manufacturing opportunities in agro-processing, textiles and other industrial subsectors.
Also present at this year’s LCCI International Business Conference and Expo were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mrs. Mary Kemi Adeoshun; Deputy Director, Commerce Department, Alhaji Sani Ibrahim; and other senior officials.
