In a heartfelt gesture, Hon. Yakub Ajadi Babatunde Prudent, Special Assistant to the Minister for Youth Development, paid a courtesy visit to his alma mater, Az-zumratul Adabiyyatul Kamaliyyah School, Okekere, Ilorin, on Sunday, revisiting the hallowed halls where his journey to Islamic knowledge and wisdom first began.
He described the institution as a historical place where many minds have been nurtured to greatness, which he happens to be a part, while pledging to continue to stand with the school.
Upon arrival, the staff and students welcomed him with joy and enthusiasm, expressing delight to host one of their own distinguished alumni.
Hon. Prudent took the opportunity to greet students and staff, and later received blessings from Fadilah Sheikh Abdulqodri Kamaldeen, the Kalihatul Adabiyeen.
The Sheikh praised Hon. Prudent as a great product of the institution and a pride of the Ilorin Emirate, praying for his continued success and fulfillment.
In response, Hon. Prudent expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception.
The visit concluded with a stop at Sheikh Muktar’s residence in GRA, Ilorin, where Hon. Prudent and his team were warmly received. The Sheikh appreciated the visit, wishing Hon. Prudent all-round success in his endeavors.
