Empowering Women: Women’s Empire Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Impactful Workshop

As part of her efforts in marking another year of empowering women, fostering community, and creating positive change in the community, a socio-educational group, Women’s Empire organized an insightful workshop to further encourage and motivates women in the society on their impact in building a strong and supportive community.

In her preamble, the founder, Shifau Ololade Olanrewaju disclosed that the platform’s creation was born out of passion to empower, uplift and support womanhood, explaining that the creation in April 25, 2023, is aimed to provide a platform for women to find resources, support, and inspiration.

She expressed that despite countless challenges, the platform has grown to become a community of over 200 active women, with achievements including: Providing a social media platform for women to converge and support each other, creating sessions that encourage and support women in businesses, offering educative and interactive sessions for followers, providing practical tools for personal growth and building self-confidence as well as promoting health and wellness through social awareness.

In her conclusion, Olanrewaju expressed gratitude to the team, members, and supporters, noting that Women’s Empire will remain committed to her mission.

“You are incredible, marvelous, amazing, outstanding, and intelligent,Show the world what you are made of, and don’t let anyone underestimate you.” She added

However, the founder charged the members to improve on their activeness in all their social engagements

Delivering the lecture on the group platform on Friday, the Chairperson of the National Female Student Association of Nigeria (NFSAN), Kwara State Chapter, Buraimoh Abiola Temitope, shared valuable insights on the theme “Building a Supportive Community: The Role of Women’s Network.”

She described women’s contributions in nation as pivotal, adding that every nation interested in progressive development should prioritize building women in the society.

The guest speaker highlighted the importance of women’s networks, emphasizing benefits such as mentorship, emotional support, and access to resources. The speaker encouraged the community to build a supportive network that celebrates women’s achievements and empowers them to reach their full potential.

On behalf of the community, the founder of Women’s Empire presented a certificate to the guest speaker, Buraimoh Abiola Temitope, for her selfless service and inspiring presentation.

“From all of us at Women’s Empire, we say a very big thank you to our Outstanding, Elegant, and Amazing guest speaker. May Almighty God grant you more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding,” the founder said.

The anniversary celebration marked a significant milestone for Women’s Empire, poised to make a lasting difference in the lives of women everywhere.
