The Minister’s recent gesture of presenting a brand new, ministry-branded IVM Hummer bus to the staff as a welfare bus has brought immense joy and relief to the ministry’s workforce.
On October 27, 2025, the ministry’s staff were ecstatic as they witnessed the handing over of the keys to the new bus, which will serve as a transportation solution for staff, addressing one of the organization’s long-standing challenges. This initiative is a testament to the Minister’s dedication to not only youth development but also staff well-being, and it underscores the importance of harnessing local resources and promoting local production.
During the ministry’s quarterly town hall meeting, Comrade Ayodele broke the news with characteristic enthusiasm, inspiring hope and renewed confidence in his leadership and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The staff were visibly elated, and the atmosphere was electric with celebration and appreciation.
This gesture is yet another example of the Minister’s outstanding contributions to the ministry and the nation at large.
Earlier this month, he announced his visit to Nnewi, Anambra State, where he partnered with Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd (IVM) to scale youth training, apprenticeship, and enterprise development across Nigeria, particularly within the automotive value chain and allied sectors.
This move is designed to encourage local patronage and support the growth of the domestic economy.
